I am a recent graduate student from the University of Wisconsin - Stout's PSM Conservation Biology program.
My thesis research focuses on the ecosystem-wide impacts of beaver dams, including water quality, biodiversity, and specific populations (bats and birds). Future project goals include trout utilization of beaver ponds across seasons and maturity, beaver dam impacts to amphibian & macroinvertebrate diversity, and food web/biomass analysis of beaver ponds.
I am passionate about changing the dialogue surrounding beavers and their role in our world.
