Certified Beaver Enthusiast with a focus on process-based restoration, wetland and riparian restoration, green infrastructure, and leveraging natural processes to address community & environmental issues.

Research Interests: Bioacoustic Analysis, Beaver Pond Water Quality, Bats, Waterbirds, Beaver Pond Species Richness and Use Patterns, Ecosystem-scale Impacts of Beaver Ponds, Food webs and biomass in Beaver Ponds.
I am currently a graduate student at University of Wisconsin - Stout in the PSM Conservation Biology program.

My thesis research focuses on the ecosystem-wide impacts of beaver dams, including water quality, biodiversity, and trout populations. Future project goals include trout utilization of beaver ponds across seasons and maturity, beaver dam impacts to amphibian, avian, and bat biodiversity, and food web/biomass analysis of beaver ponds.
